AN AFTERNOON IN ROCHESTER ,KENT, UK.

Great expectations !

On my holidays to mainland Europe, i stay overnight in London, so that i can take the early Eurostar train. This gave me time to take a
trip out to Rochester. Rochester is a historic city in Medway, Kent England. 30 minutes by High Speed Train. I spent a nice afternoon
roaming around. The A2 is the main road, it takes the route of the Roman Road , Watling Street. --- Charles Dickens , 1812 to 1870 , English Writer, some of his novels were written in Rochester.--His novels include " Great Expectations", "Tale of two Cities", "Christmas Carol","Oliver Twist","David Copperfield","Pickwick Papers " etc. He lived in several places in Rochester.HS1. -  HIGH  SPEED  TRAIN  AT  ST.  PANCRAS  STATION. 30 minutes  to  Rochester. -- This  train  as  the  name  Daley  Thompson, the  British Decathlete,  who  received  Gold medals  at  two  Olympic  games.
